Egyptian massage
Egyptian massage is known as traditional Egyptian massage or Pharaonic massage. It is a type of traditional massage (massage therapy) that aims to relieve muscle tension. It improves skin tone, contributes to muscle relaxation and better sleep. The ancient Egyptians believed in three ‘keys of life’, the head, mental well-being and the heart.

What are Egyptian massages?

The Egyptian massage differs in that the masseur does not only use special techniques, but can also feel the client’s stress points and blocks. Thanks to this technique, they can then massage the deeper muscle layers. To improve the effect of the massage we also use special aids according to the needs and diagnosis of the client, so that the best therapeutic effect is achieved. Come and try an unforgettable massage experience at the hands of an Egyptian master!

Egyptian massage and its history

Massage in ancient Egypt dates back to around 2686 BC. In many tombs and pyramids from the following period, engravings, pictures and written records of the practice of pharaonic massage can be found, which included hand and foot massage, oil massage, as well as pictures of manicures, pedicures, water therapy and the use of scents, oils and essential oils in scent therapy. It is said that Egyptian therapeutic massage worked with designated energy pathways in order to balance imbalances, remove obstructions and restore energy flow in the body.
